Workin' For A Livin'

So, week four starts tomorrow, and I think I am really going to like this new job. It's just a great company to work for. They really seem to take good care of their employees. I actually feel really well-trained and I think I'll be ready when I actually get out there to start adjusting! I never thought that this was a path that I would take with my life, but, well, little in my life is as I'd imagined it when I was a kid...I'm so happy, though, that there's no way that I can complain. Happy and in love, like my job, getting ready to bring kids into our life, wonderful friends--both old and new--committed to a wonderful church...Nope, can't complain! It's weird, though, I've been having dreams about people from my past. Not even necessarily friends, though they are sometimes. I assume that it's because I'm moving into a new stage in life, but it's sort of haunting. For all the BVNW crew, the last one was set in Brooke's house. Odd. Any better theories out there? Am I supposed to take something away from all this?

On other notes, foster care classes are going pretty well--we just keep getting more excited. We're also looking forward to weddings and graduations--all sorts of celebrations this spring and summer. Life is pretty mundane, but incredibly busy. We're always going somewhere and doing something. I can't imagine what it will be like with kids, though since it's what I've always wanted, I'm sure it will be great. We're also trying to lavish as much attention as possible on Buchi, since we're not home as much. She spent Friday at the groomer's, since we were getting the carpets cleaned. She came home with bows in her hair. Pink ones, no less. C.C. was very grumpy about this, but secretly, I think we both think it's cute. She doesn't seem to be bothered by them, so we've left them in. I've included a picture of her royal cuteness for your viewing pleasure. More later!
